David Raphael Israel has dedicated unto me a lovely little "boomerang" poem based on a line I highlighted of his from (in?) a comment in a comment box. Eek, my syntax has run amok.
Anyway, some truly absurd rhyming, which is a compliment.

for which compliment, thanks!
Meanwhile -- like vanishing circus tents -- the Silliman blog's proliferous sideshow (fringe fest) has been suddenly packed up, leaving large meadowlands bearing the indistinct impression of gypsies scattered to the four directions . . .
Some, though, notice other campgrounds, modest in scale but accoutered with festive festoons withal, scattered here & thenre in hill or dale. The gypsies hail one another, wandering hiways or byways, recalling pagentry of the big tent and sea of puptents.

Indeed. I have thought that less time spent on that distant shore would impel me to pay frequenter visits to others' blogs... but I haven't had the time, alas...
